for those more in need

A substantial part of Teddy profits goes to Gigi Tadei Foundation. The aim of the Foundation is to cherish, develop and make it always contemporary the special passion Vittorio and Luigi Tadei had for young people and those more in need by supporting charities in Italy and all over the world.

The Foundation serves its purpose by meeting people, accompanying them and supporting them through projects submitted by educational and charity works with the aim of helping the latter to achieve their ideal goals and make themselves financially independent. Furthermore, the Foundation also promotes projects and events fostering the dissemination of a culture of acceptance for young people and people more in need within educational, social and entrepreneurial organizations.

The Foundation serves its purpose by meeting people, accompanying them and supporting them through projects submitted by educational and charity works with the aim of helping the latter to achieve their ideal goals and make themselves financially independent. Furthermore, the Foundation also promotes projects and events fostering the dissemination of a culture of acceptance for young people and people more in need within educational, social and entrepreneurial organizations.

Our aid to support everyone

Besides supporting the Foundation, Teddy launched other philanthropic initiatives such as the use of corporate facilities free of charge to host events by the community, for which we also planned investment goals. We are also strengthening the monitoring procedures for donations to charities in terms of financial support, time dedicated and progresses made in order to measure the positive impact made, even according to the quantity of recipients.

GOAL

Implementing and reporting on the Corporate Citizenship Programme at a corporate level.

We strongly believe in the right to education as a pillar for a more equitable society in the future; we therefore contribute to widen the access to education through the payment for tuition fees and study support activities both in Italy and abroad. We back projects closer to us but also far from us, even though only geographically speaking, as we are close to them thanks to our 30-year constant and lasting support.
Teddy employees are directly and indirectly involved in charity donations because they can directly choose where the donations may go. Furthermore, fundraising campaigns are promoted and encouraged among our collaborators with the company acting as a mediator and doubling the amounts collected in order to increase the impact of the donation.

GOAL

Launching a corporate volunteering scheme in 2022 involving at least 100 collaborators.

We pay great attention to the results of our volunteering activities, closely monitoring how projects are developed and when goals are achieved, asking for feedback mainly to the recipients of our actions in order to understand the real impact those actions have on people more in need and also to act and correct them as to improve and extend the resulting benefits.

We encourage volunteering experiences for groups of our collaborators within different charitable organizations, which we support also from a material point of view by donating scraps of fabric or semi-finished products from our sewing workshop. Our collaborators are also involved in volunteering activities at an international level such as the National Food Collection Day (Giornata nazionale della Colletta Alimentare), during which we go to local supermarkets to participate in local food collections, which we also carry out at our heardquarters to help local communities.
