We are aware a change in perspective is required in the way of doing business; we therefore adopted a governance system that takes into account social and environmental impact in order to make us operate in an increasingly more ethical, transparent and responsible way.

Positive impact is part of our culture

Today companies are required to fulfil a greater purpose besides profit. For Teddy this has always been a natural vocation we have inherited from our founder. Solidarity, soundness, loyalty, respect, transparency, legality, confidentiality, fairness have always guided our behavior and relations, both inside and outside the company. As we love to say: “Treat others as you’d like to be treated” and “Work with Teddy and not for Teddy”.

Create jobs in a constructive way, following the principles of responsibility and inclusion, while promoting charities and projects to help those more in need and the community, beyond the local ones.

Our sustainability team

You can improve your company only by coordinating all the corporate departments and talking with the supply chain. Therefore, in 2021 we developed a strategic plan for sustainability, based on the Manifesto Everyone Can, with the aim of completing it by 2025. Our sustainability department today accounts for 8 people working at an international level and exclusively on the goal, supported by 8 work groups that are in charge of designing and developing new net-positive actions.

One of the linchpins of Teddy action is to foster the awareness of all our employees on social and environmental issues as to make them an integral part of a shared and widespread corporate culture. We carry out regular training sessions on topics such as our Code of Ethics, anti-corruption system and strategic plan for sustainability. Any new employee ise given a special onboarding training on the values,on the goals of the strategic plan and on the social commitment of Teddy and Gigi Tadei Foundation.

We published our first sustainability report for internal use to communicate and share our environmental and social efforts and goals with transparency.
